BANKS AND BROKERAGE HOUSES ARE TO BE LEFT OFF LIMITS BY GOVERNMENT REGULATORS... until they fuck things up so bad they have to be bailed out.
WELFARE IS A BAD WORD... unless it is used to save corporations from ruin.
RADIO STATIONS DECIDE WHAT TO PLAY ACCORDING TO WHAT THE AUDIENCE TELLS THEM THEY LIKE... but the audience is determined by the profiles set up by the advertisers, and the computer chooses the music via statistical model.
CAPITALISM IS THE ONLY SYSTEM THAT WORKS... but it is also the only system that is allowed to fail repeatedly and then be propped up by the government that the capitalists all decry as the enemy of the market.
IT IS CONSIDERED DREADFULLY IMPORTANT TO PROTECT THE BANKS, THE BROKERAGE HOUSES, THE MULTINATIONAL COMPANIES, AND THE STOCK MARKET... while it is dreadfully unimportant to protect the arts, investments in education, and health care.
THE POOR ARE ROUTINELY BASTARDIZED FOR NOT PAYING TAXES - WHEN YOU CONSIDER THAT MOST GET THEIR MONEY BACK AT THE END OF THE YEAR - .... while the rich pay increasingly less as proportion of their income, and the poor still pay more as proportion of their income via sales tax.
DAVID LETTERMAN, A FUCKING COMEDIAN, MAKES AN OFF COLOR JOKE ABOUT SARA PALIN'S DAUGHTER - WELL REALLY ABOUT A-ROD AND THERE IS A DISTURBING MOB OF 15 CRETINS PROTESTING HIS SHOW AND THE OLIVE GARDEN PULLS ADS... while right wing nutjobs all over this country claim they don't want to pay taxes, but simultaneously support wars of choice.
IN AMERICA, WE ELECTED THE FIRST BLACK PRESIDENT, TO REPLACE WHAT IS ARGUABLY THE WORST PRESIDENT IN THE HISTORY OF THE UNIVERSE.... and he continues very similar economic paradigms.
